U.S. President Joe Biden has reached his key 100-day goal of 200 million CoV vaccinations administered in the country. Biden wrote on Twitter yesterday that this threshold in vaccination numbers has now officially been crossed. “This is an American achievement. It is a powerful example of unity and resolve.” And, he said, it shows what the country can accomplish when people work together toward a common goal.
The Democrat had moved into the White House on Jan. 20. He will have been in office for 100 days at the end of April. When he took office, Biden had originally set the goal of administering 100 million doses of vaccine within his first 100 days in office. That was achieved after just under 60 days. Biden then doubled the target – and has now also reached it before the 100-day deadline.
